It’s Saturday! I’m sitting here checking all the news around the net– did you know that there’s a cabinet that sounds like Chewbacca? Hmmm… the things you stumble upon on the internets! So I’m just chillin’, listening to Matt Pryor. You may have heard something he’s done. He performs in a little band called The Get Up Kids (with one <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Dewees”>James Dewees</a> of Reggie and the Full Effect notoriety). He’s also with The New Amsterdams and The Terrible Twos. And be on the look out– The Get Up Kids are reuniting, which makes me smile.
The Matt Pryor album is called Confidence Man, and you can go buy it in itunes. It’s a smooth, relaxing jaunt into a settling evening of peace and quiet. Good acoustic folkish grooves with spectacular songwriting and hooks to make a fisherman jealous.
